And in more contest news...

This past Monday I learned that Traitor Knight has been listed as a finalist in the Chanticleer International Book Awards OZMA Awards, which recognize emerging new talent and outstanding works in the genre of Fantasy, Magic, Steampunk, Fairytale, Swords & Sorcery Fiction.

The Official Finalists Listing is comprised of works that have passed the first three rounds of judging from the entire field of entrants. To pass the first three rounds of judging, more than sixty pages of the works below have been read and been deemed worthy by the CBR judges of continuing in competition for the Short List and then compete for the 2016 OZMA Awards FIRST IN CATEGORY positions and their prize packages. More than $30,000 dollars in cash and prizes are awarded to Chanticleer International Blue Ribbon Awards Winners annually.

Unlike my recent entry in the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll (which I won for Best Romance Novel, thanks to all my wonderful family, friends, and fans), this contest requires no input from the public. Books are judged solely on their merits, and move on into subsequent rounds accordingly. So all I'm asking this time is fingers crossed for Marissa, Morgan, and myself as we wait to find out if we make it into the Short List.
